The French territories are developing and transforming to meet new challenges. Caisse des Dépôts is changing accordingly and has brought together its internal expertise for the territories into a single structure: Banque des Territoires. On 4 June 2019, Olivier Sichel, Caisse des Dépôts' deputy CEO presented 'CDC Banque des Territoires' where he addressed the territorial divide within France.
Banque des Territoires is a directorate of Caisse des Dépôts, a public institution. It brings together all operational directorates acting to promote territories and relies on a network of 35 bodies, including 16 regional directorates. Using a strong functional link, it also brings together Scet and CDC Habitat, two subsidiaries that it fully owns, and which contribute towards assisting territorial stakeholders with engineering and with advice in particular, as well as with housing development.
Energy and green transition, digital, mobility, social economy, social housing : French Caisse Des Dépôts strengthens its ability to provide advice and finance strategic territorial projects with local authorities. A trusted and long-term partner, Banque des Territoires assists stakeholders from all territories in the development and the rolling out of innovative, bold and ambitious future projects, to benefit all populations. Particular attention is given to small local authorities and territories in difficulty.
